Privacy

Short version: this website doesn't track you. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no forms. The only personal data involved are the technical logs every web server keeps and the emails you choose to send us.

1. Who is responsible

The controller for this website is SCRUMEDIA d.o.o. za računalne djelatnosti i usluge, Ilica 425, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, OIB 88286003607 (full company details below). For anything about your personal data, write to info@scrumedia.com or to the address above. We are a small company and have not appointed a data protection officer, because the law does not require one for what we do.

2. What this website does not do

It sets no cookies and uses no similar technology (local storage, fingerprinting, pixels).
It runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
It loads nothing from third parties. Fonts and images come from the same server as the page. There are no embedded videos, maps or social media widgets.
It has no forms and no accounts. The contact links open your own email program.

3. Server logs

When you open a page, your browser sends a request to the server. Our hosting provider, Plus Hosting Grupa d.o.o. (Pula, Croatia), records each request in a server log: your IP address, the date and time, thepage or file requested, the response status, the referring page if your browser sends one, and your browser'suser agent (browser and operating system).

Purpose: to deliver the website, keep it secure (for example, to detect and block attacks) and fix errors.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: up to 30 days, after which the logs are deleted automatically. They are kept longer only if they are needed to investigate a specific security incident.
Who processes them: the hosting provider, as our processor under a data processing agreement, on servers in the EU. We do not use the logs to identify or profile visitors, and we do not combine them with other data.

4. When you email us

If you write to info@scrumedia.com, including through the "request access", "request a demo", "early access" or "get notified" links on our product pages, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write.

Purpose: to answer you, to discuss and run a project if we end up working together, and, if you asked to be notified about a product, to send you that notice.
Legal basis: steps you asked for before a possible contract, or the contract itself (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For other enquiries, our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For a "notify me" request, your request (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by telling us.
Retention: as long as the correspondence needs it. When a conversation ends without a project, we delete it within a reasonable time. If it leads to a contract, we keep it for as long as accounting and other laws require. We send a "notify me" message once and then delete the address unless you ask us to keep you posted.
We do not sell your details, share them with third parties for their own purposes, or add you to a mailing list. Our email is hosted by our hosting provider as our processor.

5. No automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you by automated means, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).

6. Where your data goes

This website does not transfer personal data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
have it rectified if it is wrong or incomplete;
have it erased;
restrict how we use it;
object to processing based on our legitimate interests (section 3 and part of section 4);
receive data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable format, where processing is based on consent or contract;
withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it, without affecting what was done before.

To use any of these rights, email info@scrumedia.com. We will answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act. Note that we can only find server log entries if you tell us the IP address and the approximate time of your visit, and after 30 days they no longer exist.

8. Complaints

If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Croatian supervisory authority: Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr. You can also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live or work. We would appreciate the chance to fix the problem first, so please write to us.

9. Changes

If the website changes, for example if we add a contact form, this notice will change with it. The date at the top shows the latest version.
